Swimming Pool and Outdoor Spaces

Our outdoor swimming pool is the heart of the homestay social life. Measuring 8 by 4 meters with a depth ranging from 1.2 to 1.6 meters, it is large enough for swimming laps and relaxing but intimate enough to feel exclusive. The pool is surrounded by tropical plants, palm trees, and comfortable sun loungers with parasols. Pool towels are provided free of charge. The pool is open daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the water cleaned and treated daily.

Beyond the pool, our tropical garden offers hammocks strung between palm trees, covered seating areas perfect for reading or working on your laptop, and a dedicated BBQ zone with a charcoal grill. Many guests buy fresh seafood from the nearby Night Market (a five-minute walk) and grill it themselves — it is one of the most authentic Phu Quoc experiences you can have. The garden is illuminated with soft lighting in the evening, creating a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation after a day of island exploration.

Internet and Connectivity for Remote Workers

We take internet seriously because we know how critical it is for today's travelers. Our property is connected to dedicated fiber optic internet from VNPT, delivering consistent download speeds of 50+ Mbps and upload speeds of 20+ Mbps. We regularly speed-test our connection and maintain it proactively — if there is ever an issue, we have a backup 4G hotspot available immediately.

WiFi coverage extends to every room, the pool area, the garden, and the common kitchen. The signal is strong and stable, suitable for HD video conferencing on Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams, streaming on Netflix or YouTube, uploading large files, and running cloud-based applications. Many of our long-term guests are software developers, designers, writers, and business consultants who rely on our internet daily for their work. We also recommend getting a local Vietnamese SIM card with 4G data as a backup. Viettel and Mobifone both offer prepaid SIM packages with 30-60 GB of data for about $5-10 per month. SIM cards can be purchased at the airport or at phone shops in Duong Dong within a five-minute walk of our homestay.

Kitchen and Self-Catering Facilities

Our shared kitchen is fully equipped for guests who prefer to cook their own meals — a fantastic way to save money and enjoy fresh local ingredients. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator (with labeled sections for each guest), a two-burner gas stove, a microwave, an electric kettle, a rice cooker, a toaster, and a complete set of cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, glasses, and cutlery.

We provide complimentary basics: filtered drinking water, cooking oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and Vietnamese coffee. A small herb garden near the kitchen supplies fresh basil, mint, and chili for your cooking. The local market in Duong Dong (a ten-minute walk) sells incredibly fresh produce, seafood, and meat at local prices — a kilogram of fresh prawns costs about $5-8, and tropical fruits like mango, dragon fruit, and pineapple are available for under $1 per kilo.

For long-term rental guests, rooms come with a private kitchenette including a mini-fridge, electric stove, and basic utensils — no need to share with other guests.

Transportation and Tour Services

Getting around Phu Quoc is essential to making the most of your stay, and we make it easy. We offer automatic scooter rental directly at the homestay — $5 per day or $80 per month. All scooters are well-maintained Honda or Yamaha automatics, easy to ride even for beginners. We provide helmets and can give you a quick lesson if you have never ridden a motorbike before. International driving permits are technically required but rarely checked; we can advise on getting a temporary Vietnamese driving permit if needed.

Our airport transfer service costs $8 per trip (one way) to or from Phu Quoc International Airport, which is about 15 minutes from our homestay. Just send us your flight details via WhatsApp, and our driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals hall with a name sign. We also arrange private car hire with driver ($40-60 per day) for families or groups who prefer not to ride motorbikes.

Laundry, Housekeeping, and Other Services

We provide laundry service at $2 per kilogram, with same-day turnaround for items dropped off before 10:00 AM. Long-term guests have access to a washing machine for self-service laundry at no extra charge. Fresh towels are provided every two to three days, and bed linens are changed weekly (or more frequently on request).

Room cleaning is included — daily for short-term guests, and weekly for long-term residents (with additional cleaning available on request). We use eco-friendly cleaning products and provide biodegradable toiletries in dispensers rather than single-use plastic bottles, as part of our commitment to reducing waste on the island.

Additional services available on request include breakfast preparation ($3-5/day for a Vietnamese or Western-style breakfast), bicycle rental ($3/day), luggage storage for guests between stays, and assistance with visa extensions, SIM card purchases, and local banking.
